Peach Pie
Ingredients
- 10 fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup butter
- One 9-inch pastry double crust
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Mix flour and butter into crumb stage.
Step 2
Place one crust in bottom of 1-inch pie pan.
Step 3
Place fresh sliced peaches in a large bowl and add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, coating slices well.
Step 4
Line shell with sliced peaches and sprinkle butter peaches with flour mix Put more peaches on top of crumb mixture. Continue layering until both peaches and crumb mixture are gone.
Step 5
Top with lattice strips of pie crust and bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Allow pie to cool before slicing.
