Root Beer Float

Ingredients

  • ½ pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • 4 maraschino cherries (optional)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place 1 scoop of ice cream into each of two chilled glasses or frosted mugs.

Step 2

Pour root beer carefully over ice cream.

Step 3

Add another scoop and repeat until the glass is full.

Step 4

Top with optional cherries.
