Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
In microwaveable bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa and cornstarch.
Step 2
Whisk in milk a little at time so mixture does not have any dry lumps.
Step 3
Place in microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high.
Step 4
Cook for 3 minutes on high. Stir, then cook in 1-minute intervals, stirring between cooking times for 2 to 4 minutes, or until shiny and thick. Stir in the vanilla.
Step 5
Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding to prevent skin from forming.
Step 6
Chill in refrigerator and serve cold.
