The Origins of Atte.
ATTE. COFFEE and ATTE. ICED TEA share a unique name with a deeper meaning. Mary’s Sweets’ founder, Mary Lilly, was given her middle name from her grandmother, Etta. Etta spelled backwards is “Atte,” which is the Spanish abbreviation meaning “sincerely yours.” We think Etta is the perfect inspiration for ATTE. COFFEE and ATTE. ICED TEA Both endure a long journey from exotic lands and are carefully selected for a premium taste experience. ATTE. COFFEE brings only the choicest Arabica beans to your cup and ATTE. ICED TEA offers refreshing brewed flavor with hints of lemon in a convenient bottle.
Mary’s Sweets supports Direct Trade.
Direct trade is a term used by coffee roasters who buy straight from the growers, cutting out both the traditional middleman buyers and sellers.

Medium Roast
Medium roasts are heated from 410 °F – 430 °F, just before the beginning of the “second crack.” They are medium brown in color and have more body than light roasts. They also don’t have oil on the surface of the beans but their taste is more balanced and less acidic. They contain less caffeine than light roasts but more than dark roasts. Common names are Regular Roast, American Roast (the traditional roast in the eastern United States, roasted to the end of the first crack), City Roast (medium brown, a typical roast throughout the US), and Breakfast Roast.
